1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using PegasusTrading (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PegasusTrading, operated from the United Kingdom. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
2. Service Description
PegasusTrading is a web-based trading journal platform that allows users to:
- Record and manage trade entries across multiple journals
- View analytics, statistics, and performance metrics derived from user-submitted trade data
- Track equity curves, custom metrics, and behavioural patterns
- Store trade notes, screenshots, and personal observations
PegasusTrading is NOT a financial advisory service. We do not provide investment advice, trade recommendations, or financial guidance of any kind. All trading decisions are solely your own.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and create a password of at least 8 characters
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
- You must notify us immediately at support@pegasustrading.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. Subscriptions & Payments
PegasusTrading offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. The Free plan has usage limits (number of journals, trades per month, and feature access). The Pro plan unlocks all features.
- All payments are processed by Stripe. PegasusTrading never stores or has access to your payment card details
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at checkout
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@pegasustrading.app
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next billing cycle
5. User Content & Data
- You retain full ownership of all data you submit to PegasusTrading, including trade entries, notes, screenshots, and custom metrics
- By using the Service, you grant PegasusTrading a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you
- We do not access, analyse, or use your individual trade data for any purpose other than providing the Service
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. PegasusTrading is not responsible for errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in user-submitted data
- You may delete your data at any time by deleting individual trades, journals, or your entire account

6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written permission
- Upload malicious content, including viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicence access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure
7. Intellectual Property
The PegasusTrading name, logo, website design, user interface, and all software code are the intellectual property of PegasusTrading and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimers
- No financial advice: PegasusTrading is a record-keeping and analytics tool. Nothing on the platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or trading advice. You should consult a qualified professional for such matters.
- No guarantees: We do not guarantee that using PegasusTrading will improve your trading performance, profitability, or returns.
- “As is” basis: The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Service.
- Uptime: While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may cause temporary downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PegasusTrading shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Any trading losses or financial decisions made based on analytics or data displayed in the Service
- Any damages arising from unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to maintain credential security
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to PegasusTrading in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
10. Termination
- You may close your account at any time by contacting support@pegasustrading.app
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will continue to apply
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect.
The “Last Updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
